Here’s what’s happening behind the scenes: As water flows through the filter, it’s pulled through a carefully engineered sequence of filtration materials, each one designed to tackle a specific type of contaminant. Larger particles get trapped first. Then, organic materials like chlorine and herbicides are reduced. After that, the magic of ion exchange begins, where unwanted ions (like lead, nitrate, and heavy metals) are captured and replaced with harmless ones.
